The position offers M1–M6 Inner London pay, with a daily rate of £210–£270 PAYE, depending on experience.

Year 3 Teacher – The Role

As the Year 3 Teacher, you will take full responsibility for an established Lower Key Stage 2 class, delivering engaging lessons and maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering lessons across the Year 3 curriculum
• Teaching English, Mathematics and the wider Primary curriculum
• Supporting pupils as they transition into Key Stage 2
• Assessing progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
• Supporting children with additional learning needs
• Maintaining positive classroom behaviour and routines
• Developing pupils’ confidence, independence and resilience
• Working collaboratively with the wider KS2 teaching team
• Building positive relationships with pupils and parents

You will also play an important role in helping pupils develop the independence and academic foundations needed as they progress through Key Stage 2.

Who We’re Looking For

For this Year 3 Teacher vacancy in Greenford, we’re particularly interested in hearing from experienced Primary Teachers who are confident working within Key Stage 2.

Ideally, you will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Previous UK Primary School teaching experience
• Experience teaching within KS2, ideally Year 3 or Year 4
• Strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
• Experience assessing and monitoring pupil progress
• An inclusive approach to supporting pupils with additional needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

Previous Lower KS2 experience would be particularly desirable. However, strong Primary Teachers with experience in other year groups will also be considered.
