Year 6 Teacher Southall – The Role
Full responsibility for a Year 6 class
Planning and delivering engaging Upper KS2 lessons
Preparing pupils for SATs and end-of-year assessments
Creating a structured, focused and inclusive classroom environment
Supporting pupils’ transition to secondary school
Working collaboratively with colleagues and leadership

Experienced Year 6 Teachers
Upper KS2 practitioners
Teachers confident with SATs and assessment
ECTs with strong KS2 placement experience will be considered
Requirements
QTS
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2
Strong understanding of SATs and assessment
Strong classroom and behaviour management
Enhanced DBS on update service (or willingness to obtain one)
